California is famous for having some of the best cities for the Creative Class, and it’s no coincidence that its economy is among the largest in the world. An Otis College report found that Creative Industries are key drivers in the local economy, and UC Berkeley study found that your local environment has a great influence on your creativity level. So if you want to benefit from a creative environment, you may consider living in these cities. Pasadena ranks number four on on WorkaMajig’s list and is the best among cities in the Golden State. Right after at number five is Berkeley, home to the best public university in the world. As the Entertainment capital of the world, City of Los Angeles ranks at number six. Nearby Glendale is right up there at number eight, followed by another neighbor, Burbank, home of movie studios, at number sixteen. Back in NorCal, the State Capitol, Sacramento, ranks at nineteenth, followed by the perennial favorite San Francisco at the twentieth spot and Oakland across the Bay at number twenty-one.
