Real Estate
The biggest gift this Holiday season may just be the falling Mortgage Interest Rates. There has been 6 consecutive weeks of rate decreases since the middle of November as reported by Freddie Mac, despite the short-term Fed rate increases, albeit at a slowing rate in response to the decelerating inflation rates. This means if you're looking to buy or sell properties, it's been relatively easier to do a transaction since buyers have slightly more purchase power than during the Summer and Fall of 2022. So it's not too late to find a Home for the Holidays, or plan to find one in 2023 as a part of your New Year Resolution. From all of us here at Ascend Real Estate, we wish you a joyous Holiday season with your loved ones!
